APRIL 5, 2024 – On April 5, we hosted our 10th annual Heart Medicine Gathering at the Viscount Gort Hotel.

This year’s theme was Love Poetry for Indigenous Women.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to the event, and thank you to everyone who helped make it so memorable! There were prizes, all sorts of activity stations like button and jewelry making, and lots of laughter (including laughing yoga!) and love. We would also like to thank our amazing keynote speaker Tenille K Campbell, and our master of ceremonies/host Tracey Leost for their attendance and contributions.

We hope to see everyone again next year.

The Heart Medicine Lodge program provides culturally-based support and advocacy services for Indigenous women who have experienced sexual assault and sexual violence. Available to all who identify as women and are over the age of 18.
