Ka Ni Kanichihk will once again be hosting our annual Chili Cook Off in support of the United Way. We had to cancel this event in 2020, so we’re really looking forward to once again offering delicious chili, bannock and apple crisp. This year’s event will still look a bit different from previous years but it is open to the public.
The friendly staff chili cook-off competition will take place on Friday, November 26th from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm (or until the chili runs out). This year we will be serving the meal from our front door. Unfortunately, this means we will not be able to offer a three-sample option as in previous years. Instead, you will have a choice between mild, hot and veggie chili. For only $10, (cash payment only) you’ll receive a serving of chili, apple crisp, bannock and a drink. To pick up your chili meal, come to 455 McDermot Ave. and ring the doorbell. First come, first served
