Indigenous Women Responding to the HIV/AIDS Crisis

Description

A program to provide HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and support education from an Indigenous cultural perspective. The program runs until March 31st 2017 with support from the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Program activities

• Rural and Northern community educational forums

• Culturally appropriate safer sex kits

• Winnipeg forum

• Regular meetings with those affected and infected by HIV.
